Brother Malcolm Skate Project
The Brother Malcolm Skate Project offers skateboarding sessions for Town of Huntington youth through partnership with the Tri-CYA. Participants, learn basic skills and park etiquette from experienced skaters, and join a welcoming community where everyone belongs.
What we do
Learn: Members of the Aged Skateboarders guide the kids through basic skills and park etiquette.
Belong: There are no tryouts or cuts. Every child is welcome at every skill level.
Give: Stay tuned for details on The Brother Malcolm Skate Project scholarship and Woodward Skate camp trip
Serve (with brotherly/genuine love): Coordinate local youth to prepare “Gifts of Hope” to be brought to the Riverhead Correctional Facility and distributed to youth visiting loved ones, during the holiday season
Value: Mental and physical wellness through connection, movement, and community
Our impact so far:
Since our first session in October 2025, 15 Town of Huntington youth have taken part in the program.
